A series of mix-and-match 18"x24" acrylic on canvas paintings in bright colors in my signature leaded style. These are so pretty the way the light catches the silver paint. I'm just getting started on this series! Many more cats to come, as well as other animals and designs!
Mix-and-match recommendations: All of the backgrounds have white mixed in
to give some variation in color. The bodies are solid color. Some of the
paints are more transparent than others, such as the purple which is fairly
transparent. What this means is that a purple body will be very dark, as
in LC2, but a purple background may be much lighter, as in LC1. My recommendation
would be to mix paintings with the same body color and different backgrounds
such as in the photo above, or put together ones with reversed body/background
colors when the paints used are more opaque. You should be able to tell
from the photographs, but if you have any questions just ask!
You may request custom colors if desired as well as background styles, however
I won't repeat a combination that's already been done. If you have a local
art store, look for Golden Artist Acrylics to choose colors, keeping in
mind the notes above about transparency. Try to pick colors with good lightfastness
ratings (although it will be varnished anyway). Or just state the colors
and I'll pick the specifics. You may be asked for a deposit for custom artwork.
All paintings are given two coats of diluted soft gel gloss as an isolation
layer and are then varnished in satin.
